We've landed on Greece's largest island, and we can safely say, it's an Aegean wonderland with more layers than a baklava! Of course, there are those glorious sun-kissed beaches, but there's a treasure trove of culture to uncover. Think ancient Minoans, Venetians, Ottomans, and more.

Charming Chania: We kicked things off in Chania, where history's so deep you might just stumble upon Minoan artifacts while digging for your sunscreen. Beaches near the Old Town? Check! Wild hikes and lush vineyards? Double check! And those Mediterranean feasts at stylish restaurants? We're practically on a culinary treasure hunt!

Beaches: Elafonisi's pink sands? Totally worth the scenic 90-minute drive. And Balos Beach? A bucket-list gem! Feeling adventurous? We hiked the Samaria Gorge – the views? Nothing short of breath taking!

Wine Wonderland: For fellow organic wine enthusiasts, Manousakis Winery is a must-stop. 

Heraklion Highlights: Heraklion, the island's capital, is where things get epic. The Palace of Knossos is like a Minoan theme park, and the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion is a treasure trove of antiquities. Need to unwind? Pnoe Breathing Life is a relaxation station.

Ravishing Rethymnon: Rethymnon's Old Town is a jaw-dropper, with Venetian architecture that'll have you snapping pics like paparazzi. Avli restaurant's classic Cretan fare is a foodie's dream. And yes, we walked off our meals with a seven-mile stretch from Rethymnon to Skaleta. Our charming villa in Kapsaliana Village had rustic charm for days!

Beach Bars and Beyond: Agios Nikolaos and Elounda brought the beach party vibes! You'll find us sipping cocktails and getting our tan on at these lively hotspots.

Mythology Buffs: The Cave of Zeus near Psychro village is a must-visit. It’s believed this is where the mighty god himself was born. Talk about a divine experience!
